" I have been under the influence of Peggy Cummings since 1987. I met Peggy at a Sally Swift Centered Riding Instructors Clinic. My horse was running off with me at the time. Faster and faster in front of all those people around and around the indoor we went. Peggy said something very quietly to Sally Swift and they beckoned me over to a corner with Peggy who explained to me that my horse was in pain. OH. The saddle did not fit. OH. For the rest of that clinic I rode in a borrowed saddle and was not allowed to pick up any contact on the reins. The second half of the clinic took place six weeks later and my horse was going on a loose rein, relaxed and confident when she spied Peggy sitting beside the rail and took a nose dive toward Peggy's lap, seemingly delighted to see her. The horse remembered her. I was awed and have been following her around when ever I could ever since."
