Rave Reviews
Riding under the watchful eye of Peggy and having the opportunity to refine my understanding in mind and body of Connected Riding. Also, useful is the opportunity to ask questions and hear explanations of the various situations that arise with regards to horses and riders. I also see the group situation as an opportunity to examine my belief system and opinions on horses and related topics and to readjust or cement my positions as needed. I really enjoy spending time with like-minded horse people!

Breast Collar for Surcingle

Breast Collar for Surcingle

Peggy first began using this surcingle in 1986 when she was introduced to TTEAM® work. Up to that time, she had used conventional methods of long-lining and lunging horses. Then, after a few years of using the TTEAM® method of ground driving horses and her dissatisfaction with her observations of typical lunging practices, she experimented with the surcingle and soft driving lines we use now. She found this line and surcingle combination to offer a light, supportive contact from the ground, allowing the handler to clearly feel the two sides of the horse moving. This surcingle allows the lines to slide smoothly through the rings so when the horse changes the bend, the contact with the handler is easily maintained. Many surcingles do not allow such ease for the handler. For more information order the book, Connected Groundwork I at www.connectedriding.com.
