Rave Reviews
...learning the groundwork skills, realizing that I didn't need a chin chain to make Partner listen to me. I really enjoyed being around people who were trying to understand what we can do to our horses without harsh punishment. But the best experience for me was the break from showing, and being with all the really great people. Since camp, just going to the barn every morning is a joy now. The pressure I used to put on me and Partner is gone!

What is Connected Movement?

What is Connected Movement?Connected movement is a method of movement education. It teaches you to find and feel new postural reference points that enable you to move with less 'work' and resistance. Connected movement, then, is the point of 'connection' where the body moves fluidly with ease, creating enhanced performance outcomes.

Connected Movement is beneficial for anyone from computer workers, athletes, to artistic performers. People typically 'work' at these activities by 'muscling through' with training methods and movement habits that are compressive and restrictive. Connected Movement provides you with tools to improve your postural movement patterns resulting in more power and efficiency.

Connected movement is learned through awareness of feeling - it is the point where movement is enabled, not forced.

• By using non-habitual movement exercises, limitations and stress in the body are noticed, and released. It is then possible to connect one's intent to move with new postural patterns that create fluidity, balance and strength. These new patterns support the body to perform optimally with ease.

• Replace "traditional" (compressive/inhibiting) performance habits with movement patterns that allow movement to flow through the body.

• Connective movement minimizes the risk of injuries that result from compressive postural habits. It may help restore mobility and reduce pain from chronic muscle and joint stress.

Connected movement is the place of 'connection', where ease and effort align.
