Lana Gillis, Store Manager
"Lana is our business 'fairy godmother' - she is our trusted friend, advisor and sounding board. Lana brings a lot of enthusiasm to our online Connected Store and wholeheartedly serves the people in our Connected community."
-Peggy Cummings
Lana Gillis has been the Connected Store Manager since fall of 2008. She has been riding with Peggy since 2003 and has used most of the products available in the store. Lana also plays a key role in the development of new projects for CEI. Lana is retired from Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where she performed the duties of program and project manager for the development of software applications for global customers like General Motors. Lana, who has a Master of Business Administration degree, also completed post graduate education through MIT, where she learned life-coaching skills, which have been useful in the development of the CEI organization.
When Lana is not fulfilling orders for store products, she is riding her charming andalusian/arab gelding, Chico, out on the trails. She and her husband, Ron, enjoy hosting horsey folks from all over the world who come to ride with Peggy in a lovely "B & B" A-frame cabin on their property.
Quote from Lana Gillis:
“When I first met Peggy and Susan at a clinic, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I could see & feel what a difference connected groundwork and connected riding made in my relationship with my horse. Peggy's work awoke a new level of awareness in me. It also started me on a healing journey that continues to this day. I believe that this work is transformational for both horses and riders. I also believe that this work is a catalyst for making other positive changes in life. I am committed to making my small contribution, as Product Manager, to getting Peggy's Connected Riding & Connected Groundwork information out to the world. I am often saddened by how much tension I often see in the riders and horses. It is so unnecessary and harmful to both horses and riders. I feel blessed and grateful to have both Peggy & Susan in my life.”
