Wild Plum Sporthorses
I have spent most of my life working with horses and since 1993, I have been teaching riding. I was introduced to Connected Ground Work and Riding in 2009 and met Peggy in March of 2010. I was impressed by Peggy’s biomechanically correct system of developing better posture in both horses and riders. This work has filled in the missing pieces for my students and me.
Dressage is my passion and the focus of my riding, training, and teaching. To me, dressage is basic training for all horses and riders. It is a major part of what I do to improve my horses’ fitness and rideability. Connected Ground Work and Riding transform the discipline of dressage for me because dressage exercises done in connection flow easily and feel and look correct and beautiful.
Connected Ground Work and Riding for all disciplines, ages, and levels with an emphasis on safety and building confidence in both riders and horses. Having fun while working towards your goals. School horses available for children, beginners, and more advanced riders. School horses are maintained with regular body work, and Connected groundwork. They are being trained with Connected Riding up the dressage levels. Starting young horses and retraining at my farm or yours.
Opportunities available for working students part or full time. Room and board available for out of state or international working students. Structured learning may be eligible for college credits.
