Cindy about Connected Riding

After riding since the age of 10, I was preparing myself at 54 to give up riding due to extreme hip pain. I had heard about Peggy and her biomechanic approach to riding. I signed up for a 12 day clinic with the goal of diminishing my hip pain or die trying. Peggy had me make several basic adjustments to my riding posture which taught me to release my own bracing patterns. I had no hip pain during the clinic and I've had no hip pain since. Needless to say, I was hooked on this incredible method which focused on how the rider's posture profoundly affects their own comfort but also impacts their horses's comfort, performance, temperament and long term health. Even my hairdresser appreciates the work and how it reduced her lower back pain during her long days standing. Every day is a new adventure in what this work can accomplish! I haven't looked back.

What Cindy's Program Offers

Connected Riding and Connected Groundwork with human alone and/or with their horse. I work with all disciplines and interests. I incorporate TTEAM (Tellington Touch Equine Awareness Method) into body work and groundwork. I take a limited number of horses into training. I offer weekend clinics at my place as well as travel to other farms. My facilities consist of 40 acres with an 9 stall barn, large riding arena, round pen, TTEAM Confidence Course and riding trails. In additional to my own training, I bring in other speakers/ trainers giving lectures on biomechanics, host a chiropractor for adjustments, and more as interest indicates. I also offer executive business coaching -over the phone as well as in person. I customize group seminars using horses for topics in leadership, teamwork and communications. Finally, I speak at business seminars and symposiums.

Connected Riding Teaching Preferences

One on one & small group lessons, group presentations of any size, club demos, small group (6) clinics. I will consider demos for fundraisers in conjunction with a clinic. Will travel internationally.
